We were excited to enter into the spirit of thankfulness and giving this year at Harvest time.. One of our current Eco topics is ‘Global Perspectives’ through which we seek to foster in our pupils an appreciation of the circumstances of others across the globe.
At Harvest time we chose to focus on the current crisis in Afghanistan by donating to Medair, a charity with links to Holywood Primary School, through a former pupil.
Medair is an international non-governmental organisation, whose purpose is to assist people affected by conflict and natural disasters.

Our virtual Harvest assembly included a presentation from the charity and harvest related activities in class. Thanks to Aaron Williamson for leading our Harvest celebrations. The children prepared two lovely songs too.
