CONGRATULATIONS! We were delighted to hear that Nina, Grace and Megan competed as a Trio recently. They represented Queens Gymnastics Club at Belvoir Activity Centre. All their hard work and practising paid off!

Abbie for being a super Buddy and takes real interest in the children. She organises and plays games with them too.
Bryn (P5) has been a great friend to one of his classmates. Bryn has encouraged him to join in with others when they are doing activities in class and when playing in the playground too.
Flora (P7) has been so good with the P1 children. She always asked what she could do to help.
Harrison (P5) has been very kind and helpful in the Dining Hall. One day he also helped a younger child to their feet when they had fallen over.
Darcy (P6) had found money in the playground. He immediately picked it up and gave it to Mrs Nelson. The money stayed in the safe for months and was unclaimed. Honesty is definitely the best policy! Well done Darcy!
Lottie (P5) has been so helpful in the Breakfast Club since she has been there. Mrs Forster really appreciated everything she did.Thanks Lottie!

Joshua (P3) has been successful in achieving his second belt in jujitsu (white belt). Joshua has been attending jujitsu at Queens Leisure Complex in Holywood for just over a year, and has improved greatly during that time whilst also enjoying his classes every Saturday. Well done Joshua!

Double success for Holywood FC P7 boys
Four of our Boys' Football Team have also had a very successful season with their club outside school. Carter, Ryan R, Matthew and Ryan M are members of Holywood Football Club's 2005 Colts team, who won both the South Belfast Youth League and Cup double! Well done boys, we're very proud of you and hopefully you've a huge trophy cabinet for those cups!!

Ruan represents NI County Down NI select
Holywood Primary’s very own football captain, Ruan, has been selected to play for the U12 NI County Down Select. Ruan and his teammates will be travelling to France on 1st June 2017 to compete in the Tournou International de Football in Dirinon. All at HPS are very proud of his achievement and wish him all the best.
