School closes for the Easter holidays on Friday 11 April at 12 NOON. Have a lovely Easter break!
Holywood Primary is closed on Monday 26 May (Spring Bank Holiday).
School re-opens on Tuesday 27 May at 8.45 a.m.

Parents and family friends are welcome to join our P4 & P5 children as they celebrate Christmas Time.
1.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. in the School Hall.
All P6 & P7 pupils are taking part in our Carol Service. Details will be sent home prior to the event. Everyone is welcome to join the HPS community as we retell the story of Christmas through music and readings.
We’d love to see you at our Bedtime Story event. All prospective P1’s are very welcome.
The P1, P2 and P3 children along with their teachers and classroom assistants would like to invite you to their Christmas Mornings on Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th at 11.00 a.m. in the School Hall.

HPS is a Polling Station and will therefore be closed to all pupils on Thursday 18 May 2023

The boys and girls will have a great fun when Fitness Freddy comes to visit. With the help of parents and friends we hope to raise some funds for the school by being sponsored for our efforts .
P7 Parents are welcome to join us for our Achievement Assembly. P7 Children finish after the assembly.
The boys and girls will have a great day of fun on our Charity Day! With the help of parents and friends we hope to raise some funds for Cancer Research and Make a Wish by being sponsored for our efforts. A full day of Fitness with Fitness Freddy! We will be very busy! THANK YOU!
To celebrate World Book Day pupils and staff will be dressing up as their favourite character from a book or comic. As in previous years this is optional for P5 – P7. School uniform must be worn if not dressing up in costume.
We hope you will enjoy a great evening at the PTA Annual Quiz.
Parents can test their knowledge and have a great evening of fun with friends.

School photographs will be taken of all pupils on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Both family groups and individuals will be taken from P1-P7.

P7 parents will meet with Mrs Crookshanks & Mrs Clarke to complete an Education Authority Transfer Form on behalf of their child. The form will include Post Primary school choices for our P7 pupils for September 2019. Appointment times will be sent home prior to these dates.
To thank everyone for their recent Charity donations and to enter into the Christmas Spirit we are having a Non-Uniform Day on Thursday 20 December so that everyone can wear a Christmas jumper. NO DONATIONS REQUIRED.

FRIDAY 15TH NOVEMBER
For our BBC Children in Need day this year we would like the children to come to school dressed up in spotty or striped clothes, silly hats, wigs ( no hair colouring) funny shoes etc.
The usual donation of at least £1 for not wearing school uniform will apply.
It will be a fun day and we hope everyone will take part!
